Who we are

Martial Index (martialindex.com) is a martial arts encyclopedia. This policy covers the public website and the email / optional phone capture forms used for catalog updates and fight news.

What we collect

• Email (required) when you submit a join or subscribe form.
• Phone (optional) if you choose to provide it on the same form.
• Page context such as which page you submitted from, and a timestamp, so we can understand which entries people care about.
• Basic technical data that browsers send automatically (for example IP address and user agent) if and when the site is hosted with standard server or analytics tooling. This static draft stores join submissions in your browser’s localStorage under martialindex.leads until a server-side capture is wired; treat that as a local preview, not a network transmission.

How we use it

We use your email—and phone only if you gave one—to send catalog updates, new style or term releases, and fight-related news tied to Martial Index. We do not use the list for unrelated marketing.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your email or phone to third parties.
• We do not rent or trade the list for advertising networks.
• We do not require a phone number; it is always optional.

Opt out

You can opt out at any time. Reply “unsubscribe” to any list message we send, or email a removal request to the address published on future list mail. After a server-side list exists, we will honor removal promptly. Until then, clearing martialindex.leads in your browser removes locally stored preview submissions on that device.

Children

Martial Index is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect contact information from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local standard).

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and, when a live list exists, note the change in a catalog update.
